The candlelight piano concerts are dedicated to the outstanding and most popular Polish composer – Fryderyk Chopin. His works are recognized all over the world, and his name ranks among the greatest composers of all time. Chopin’s compositions are considered some of the most beautiful piano pieces in the history of music.In addition to selected works by Chopin, the program also includes the most remarkable piano compositions by world-renowned composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann, and Rachmaninoff.What makes our concerts unique is, above all, the venue – the Rectoral Church of the Carmelite Fathers of St. Catherine – a massive Gothic church from the 13th century, known for its outstanding acoustics. The sound of the piano in candlelight within such a space will provide listeners with an unforgettable emotional experience, leaving a lasting memory.
